Whether on the football field or on the stage, Kohen is a star.  An eighth grader, he believes in trying everything that Trinity has to offer.  Kohen currently is a running back on the Trinity football team, and he once scored five touchdowns in a single game.  Last year Kohen played the part of Lord Monotone in the PSIA One-Act Play The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet, and he is excited about competing again this year. His acting ability and sense of comic timing impressed the judges, as well as everyone in the audience.  When not engaged in athletics or drama, Kohen can be found tinkering with robots.  He is a founding member of the Trinity MS Robotics Club.  In its first competition, Kohen and his teammates earned First Place in the Region VII Engineering Challenge, competing against over seventy Longview area teams.  As Student Council Vice-President, Kohen helps organize events and service projects for the middle school students.  He is conscientious in these duties, and it shows.  Overall, Kohen is an interesting young man who loves a challenge!

Mark Horner

I have been involved in ministry and education for over forty years. Here in East Texas, I have taught at Legacy Academy and Christian Heritage Classical School before coming to Trinity. My wife Susan and I moved to Longview in 1997 from West Texas. We have four children and five grandchildren. My spare time interests include spending time with family, photography, film and theater, and music. My faith in God guides me every day and the more I learn, the more amazed I am in God’s love for us and his world. I am thrilled to be at Trinity!
