Fifth graders create STEM gingerbread village
LONGVIEW, Texas (KETK) - Some fifth graders in Longview took building a gingerbread house to a whole new level.
They built a gingerbread village as a stem project.
It's modeled after their school campus - the Trinity School of Texas in Longview.
The fifth graders also added some city landmarks.
Morgan Teage helped build the gingerbread village. "We have our school and little bits of important things to us hot air balloons pizza king the hospital," she says.
Her classmate Brennan Lewis adds, "I liked having to really think about the designs of each and every building!"
The class got to face time with a sister school in Kansas today, to see their project.
